Are you an authorized Wolf service center?
No. We are an independent repair company and are not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by Wolf. We repair these appliances; we do not represent the manufacturer.
Do you need the model number before you come out?
It helps and it is not required. It lets us put the likely parts on the van for the first visit, which is often the difference between one trip and two.
What if you find a second fault while you are here?
We price it separately and you decide separately. Nothing beyond what you agreed to gets done without you saying so.
Do you cover the rest of the Santa Cruz area?
Yes. Santa Cruz and the surrounding cities run off the same dispatch and the same number. Call (669) 266-0165 if you are not sure your address is in range.
What else do you check on a vent hood while you are there?
Speed control and the switch, not the motor, on a no-start, and light circuit and the sockets, separately from the blower. Both are quick, both are common, and catching them on the same visit saves a second call-out.
How much does Wolf vent hood repair cost in Santa Cruz?
There is a flat $99 service call and diagnostic fee for the visit. You get the diagnosis and the price together in writing before any work begins, and you decide at that point with no obligation to proceed.
How soon can you look at my vent hood in Santa Cruz?
Most Santa Cruz calls are booked same or next day. We are open 7 days a week, 9am – 6pm on (669) 266-0165.
What goes wrong with a Wolf vent hood most often?
Blower wheel for grease loading and the motor bearings for drag is where we start, and it is the answer more often than anything else. The full list of what we are called out for is on this page.
Can you fix a vent hood in one visit?
Usually. We carry the common vent hood failures on the van; baffles, filters and the static pressure the duct is imposing is the one that occasionally needs a part ordered, and we tell you the wait before you commit.
